i really really really really really need a rain coat...

today i was wondering if you could judge people by their umbrellas.

not like JUDGE judge,
just like, you know, gain some insight into their personality.
into their life.
their feelings.

for example, i am currently carrying a compact brightish yellow umbrella.
i hope it says something like,
'even if its rainy, i have joy, most days'

or my friend carries a black umbrella with white polka dots.
to me that says,
'hey, im cute and classy'

i used to carry a clear umbrella.
i LOVED it.
im not sure what that says,
maybe,
'hey, its raining, and i like to see what rain drops look like'

ive also noticed that almost EVERYONE has a broken umbrella.
either the top is misshapen, there is a pointy thing sticking out somewhere, it doesnt stay up all the time...
its amazing to me how flimsy and unreliable those things can be.
